The Spinster is our no-fuss solution for quickly rotating your phone between portrait and landscape on the fly—no tools, no loosening, no flopping around. Just a firm twist and it snaps into place with a satisfying click. Whether you’re navigating tight singletrack or toggling between apps at a gas stop, the Spinster adds a layer of flexibility to any setup without compromising strength or simplicity.
Compatible with all versions of the Perfect Squeeze, the Spinster gives you quick-access orientation control without introducing play or vibration.

Most “quick-rotate” solutions out there come with compromises: floppy detents, wobbly mechanisms, or plastic parts that wear out over time. We weren’t interested in any of that.
So we built the Spinster around a stiffly-sprung detent system and precision-machined aluminum internals. The result is a rotating interface that clicks firmly into position—no slop, no drift—but still spins smoothly with deliberate force. It’s a subtle upgrade, but one that solves a real-world frustration for riders who need to change things up mid-ride. Whether you’re switching maps, scanning terrain, or trying to outsmart that weird rally nav app, the Spinster keeps your setup dialed.

How it Works
Inside the Spinster is a detent system that uses spring-loaded ball bearings and precision-machined grooves to lock the mount into a set of indexed positions. The spring force is stiff enough to hold orientation on the roughest terrain but still allows you to rotate the mount by hand with a firm twist.
You’ll feel a positive click as it settles into each position. There’s no need to loosen or tighten anything—just twist and go. If your mount orientation ever gets bumped out of position, a quick twist will snap it back into alignment.

Installation
The Spinster installs between your Perfect Squeeze phone mount and the Buzzkill2.0 or RAM ball using the AMPS pattern. Just bolt the base of the Spinster to your handlebar mount using the supplied hardware, then attach your Perfect Squeeze to the top face of the Spinster. Torque specs and threadlocker instructions can be found lower in the page.
It works with any version of the Perfect Squeeze and is compatible with Hondo Garage clamps with Buzzkill2.0 (Including the DeathGrip), and RAM-compatible ball mounts!

Tips & Maintenance
- If rotation feels too stiff or too loose, double-check your mounting bolts and make sure the detent mechanism is clean and free of grit.
- The Spinster is designed for a set-it-and-forget-it lifespan, but a drop of light oil on the detent interface once a year can help keep things smooth.
- Like all Hondo Garage gear, the Spinster is fully rebuildable—contact us for parts or rebuild kits if you ever need them.
